Application Information

Thank you for your interest in the Lighthouse Special Education school. On this page you can find essential information about our admission process.

The Lighthouse Special Education school admits children aged 5 to 12  years of age. Children may be admitted at any time during the school year subject to the availability of places.

There is also a Lighthouse Early Intervention program based in the inclusive pre-school Three Little Ships for children with developmental delays or other special needs that may affect their further development. Priority is given to children who, at the start of the academic year, are 3 years old before the 1st October in that year. In some very exceptional situations, a child may be considered for entry to the Early Intervention program before their third birthday.
