Parental Contribution

A parental contribution is requested for every student that is enrolled in the school. After a child has applied to the school, the contribution is discussed in detail with the parents and a contract  is drawn up. After signing this contract, the parent is obligated to pay their contribution.

The amount of the contribution is reviewed periodically and set according to the policies of the School Board. The Parent Teacher Council (MR) formally approves the amount of the contribution and how it will be spent.

The contribution for the Early Intervention program for children aged 3 to 5 years of age in Three Little Ships pre-school is currently: €19.800,00 per school year

The contribution for the Lighthouse Special Education for children aged 5 to 13 years of age is currently: €24.200,00 per school year. This covers a place in one of the Lighthouse classes and any support the child may need when integrating into mainstream (specialist) lessons.

After the enrolment procedure the contribution may be paid all at once or in three installments before the start of the school term:
1. August through November, payable before 1st June
2. December through March, payable before 1st October
3. April through July, payable before 1st February

For a student who joins the school during the school year, the contribution will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, based on the number of school weeks remaining in the school year.

For a student who leaves the school during the school year, a reimbursement of the contribution will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, based on the number of school weeks remaining in the school year after the notice period has been completed.

Additional services

Children who attend the school are able to receive school-based therapies from qualified international professionals during the school day. Children who do not attend the school but require therapeutic services may also receive these at the Lighthouse school, outside of school hours.

It is possible for the school to arrange specialist assessments for children through it’s specialist Assessment Team.

Therapy costs

Therapy services:  €80,00 per hour
Psychological services: €100,00 per hour

The costs relating to all therapies are a matter of agreement between parents and the individual therapists and are invoiced separately by the therapists themselves.

The costs relating to assessment are a matter of agreement between parents and the individual assessor and are invoiced separately by the therapists themselves.
